Laura divides her time between helping to run a healthcare charity, and writing fiction, blogging and pursuing her interest in politics. Her mission as President of Camden is to help as many people as possible to build their skills and confidence in public speaking, as well as aiming to ensure that Camden is the trendiest, liveliest and cheeriest speakers club in town.

Thor is from Australia and has been in the UK for the past 6 years. He enjoys travelling and outdoor adrenalin sports. Public speaking has become his indoor adrenalin sport! Thor is a property selling expert and uses new systems and methods to help people sell their properties for a higher price in todays difficult economic climate. Thor is passionate about achieving accelerated performance and helping others to do the same... hence his interest in public speaking..!

Following a career working in the UK Government on transport and environment policy Shane has set out on following his dream to work with team and individuals to realise their potential. He enjoys hanging out with like minded conversationalists, hanging out in general and doing stuff outside with his two sons.
Secretary /Website & SEO Manager: Sophie Burgess
Working in IT for over a decade of which Sophie thoroughly enjoys she has now altered her focus descending from the initial concept of communications, programming and software aspects of IT to develop it onto ways of bringing out better ways of communication from our mindset which involves mind programming and software. So this was a natural progression from physical computers to the mind computers.Sophie knows that communication is a key ingredient therefore she felt it was essential to be apart of the best speakers club to strengthen her skills.
Treasurer: Caroline Chant
Following years working in the Not For Profit sector, Caroline now commissions local health and social care services. Regular public speaking has been an ongoing feature in her working life and represented an ever-present fear – until she joined Camden speakers club! Caroline's interests are wide and varied, but especially she enjoys; walking, dancing, spending time with friends, and of course figures, which is why she is the speaker's club treasurer.
